Dr Jillian Rosenstengel MBBS QLD FRACP

Dr Jillian Rosenstengel graduated from The University of Queensland and undertook her Gastroenterology training at both The Townsville Hospital and The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. She undertook post-fellowship training in interventional endoscopy at The Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital before completing a fellowship in Endoscopic Ultrasound at Indiana University Medical Centre, Indianapolis, USA.

Her special interest is in endoscopic ultrasound of the pancreas and hepatobiliary tree, gastrointestinal tract tumours and mediastinal disease. She also performs EUS-guided coeliac plexus neurolysis for malignant pancreatic and hepatobiliary pain.

She has a diverse practice that encompasses a broad spectrum of conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. She visits and performs procedures at Mater Private Hospital, South Brisbane, Sunnybank Private Hospital and Eastern Endoscopy Centre and consults at Eastern Endoscopy Centre (Thursdays), Cannon Hill (alternate Wednesdays) and Sunnybank (alternate Wednesdays).
